I am trying to create a database for our pedigrees and breeding records. Until now, we have kept the information in a paper file and copied it onto the computer as necessary, but I hope not to have to do that soon. The computer will keep the records more organized, but I will still have a paper back up system, so this actually won't save work, it will create it. That's fine, since computers tend to break and I may need to look something up in a hurry.
Our Flemish doe actually seems to be doing quite well after her illness, though we know she's not out of the water, so to speak, quite yet. We have been treating her with canola oil, since the medicine the veterinarian gave us didn't work, and spraying her hutch quite frequently, as well as giving her grains and greens to balance her nutrients and whole grains to get her to gain weight. She barely touches her pellets, even though she has plenty.
Always and adventure, always something new. That's both a blessing and a curse when raising rabbits. I like to believe it's more the former than the latter, but some days I'm just really not sure.
